The Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) is designed to assist low income households who seek assistance with their home energy bills.
Household Crisis: Provides assistance with utility bills during extreme weather conditions and/or fuel supply shortages that have or will deplete household financial resources creating problems in meeting household expenses, particularly bills for energy so as to constitute a threat to the well being of the household, particularly the elderly, the disabled, or children age 5 and younger.
Utility Assistance: Payments to assist low-income households to reduce their home energy costs. Home Energy payments will be combined with energy conservation tips to reduce their home energy needs.
ATMOS ‘Share The Warmth’ assists clients with their ATMOS gas bills during the cold months.
TXU-Energy Aid assists clients in Copperas Cove and Cameron with TXU electric bills.
