Hill Country Community Action Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization that offers a wide range of services to the community. These services include Case Management, Energy Assistance, Weatherization, Aging Services, Senior Nutrition, RSVP, and Head Start. The organization serves children, families, seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those in poverty through help centers in Killeen and Temple, as well as ten Senior Centers across nine core counties. Additionally, they provide Head Start and Weatherization services to a seventeen-county region. The specific goals for the website are to increase awareness of individual programs and focus on raising donations.

MISSION & HISTORY.

Hill Country Community Action Association Inc. (HCCAA) is a 501c3-profit organization founded in 1966, dedicated to serving San Saba, Mills, Llano, and Mason Counties. In 1975, its recognition expanded to include support for Bell, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas, and Milam Counties.

 

HCCAA offers a variety of services through its 10 Multi-Service Senior Centers and two HELP Centers, welcoming thousands of seniors, military veterans, families, and individuals in need of assistance.

 

HCCAA relies on multiple grants and donations to sustain these essential services, including the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Energy Assistance, Weatherization, Senior Nutrition services, as well as contributions from Federal, State, County, City and private non-profits sources, and local donations.
